I swear to God- next time I have a religious event to attend, I will remember to ask to have the day off for the night before it too. For some reason it slipped my mind this time though, and thus I'm just waking up at a time where I'm used to going to bed. As is, I've had two and a half hours of sleep. My hair is still wet from my shower even! (is so unhappy)

I've been so exhausted the past few days. I don't know why either. I just woke up from nine hours of sleep and I'm still wiped out.

Getting to the point where I'm just like 'bleh' about everything else. I've read LJ entires and thought up responses, but haven't bothered to actually write them. I've bought several books within the last two weeks and have yet to read any of them. Same goes for DVD's.

It's messed up. I want to do something, yet the rest of me doesn't want to do anything but stay in bed. Even getting something to eat is too much. Hungry? Got a carton of goldfish crackers over by my bed that suffice.

...

(headdesk)

But yeah. Don't want to go to work as usual. Will be a pain for the next few days. Jen's not here yet again, though this time it's due to medical reasons, and Billy has decided to take some of his leave afterall during this next week, coming in if he feels like working. He pretty much guaranteed he wouldn't be here on the weekend, but I still hope he'll show up Monday or something. No point in having a full crew if it's never going to be somewhat full.

Speaking of work, yesterday was interesting. Twilight was released on DVD. And Wal*Mart made a big, huge deal about it too, advertising for a little party directly before the release. The fans were flocking in around ten at night, and they had chips and soda and cake out for all of them while a special interview with the cast that Wal*Mart had exclusive rights to was played.

Holy shit. I was in the backroom, which is about half the store away from their location, and I could still hear them. They about drove our stockers, who were working in the middle of it now, nuts by asking when the movie was going to come out or if they could get them a copy a little sooner.

But it didn't end with them! Later on in the break room, we saw a manager from days leaving and we were like 'WTF? She's here a little late.' Well one of the customer service managers was in there at the time and explained that most of the assistant managers were all here right now.

Pi: All because of that stupid movie?
CSM: (snaps) Yes, and it's not a stupid movie!

She apparently had asked for the day off for this movie and didn't get it. I feel no sympathy towards her. Stupid people make my ears bleed.

Was going to post an account of what happened at work on my birthday. The operation was a half success, by the way. After that, I was going to list a bunch of random things I realized I've neglected to mention lately. And then I was going to work on a response to the Association Meme.

However, upon getting home I've been struck by a random case of Brooding Nature. Though processes accompanying said state have suddenly made me very very tired, so all of this will have to wait until tomorrow.
