First I bring bad news, dear flist. I returned to work yesterday to find out that after some issues with his family (whom he was staying with), Jesse finally had enough and has moved out of state. All within the few days I was off. ;_; I is deeply saddened.

In other news, another comic book came in today- the Deadpool arc of the Wolverine Origins series. I had the other five for a while now, but as I didn't have the first I couldn't really read them. The guy who did this one actually ended up taking over for the new Deadpool series, so I'm curious to see what I'm getting into. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about the writer (Daniel Way), so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Anyways! When I got my comic, I was very surprised to see something else in the box I hadn't ordered. 'Tis a very nice copy of Spiderman #358, which seems to have a lot of other characters in it, including Punisher. I made sure it wasn't a mistake and all that I got it, but that's pretty sweet! I love free comic books. ^_^

Now on to the vid. This one isn't really from Youtube, but seeing as this just came out a few days ago, I had to share. The Nostalgia Critic teamed up with The Angry Video Game Nerd for a review, and until it was released nobody knew what they'd be reviewing. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be TMNT: The Making of Coming Out of Their Shells.

Yeah. This was SO something that needed to get burned. I was quite literally frozen in terror upon seeing some of this stuff. Makes me very grateful that previously I'd been smart enough to avoid everything else having to do with this before hand. My brain would have scars from me trying to pick the images out with my fingernails.

Fair warning: be prepared for swearing. XD

For starters, little update on my situation with my kitty. After looking into it a little bit more, I think Shen might be in heat. O_o Am planning on saving up to get her fixed, but ninety dollars is pretty expensive for me right now. Like I said though- am working on it.

Anyways, the main point of my post. Nosalgia Critic's review for TMNT is up! And boy, are a lot of commenters butthurt. Not very nice, considering how many times it was requested of him.

I wasn't expecting a positive review, so was unsurprised when I didn't get one. In all honesty though, he didn't seriously burn it. And his points were valid (if I had come in knowing nothing of the TMNT, I'd have been lost too). I really did find it to be very funny.

Enjoy! I may have a quotefest later. XD

Okay. So I have to admit to have becoming a major fan of the Nostalgia Critic. New episodes are like the highlight of my weekend (and so coincidentally happen to hit the nets on my weekend)- and any Bum Review that might come along is only like icing on the cake.

So I was on his website the other day and was filled with joy to have both, along with a new Ask-a-guy, in which all three of the characters were switched around for April Fool's. Was much fun.

And then I noticed that there was a new line up for the things the NC would be reviewing.

I think my heart stopped as it looked upon the slot for April 21.

He's reviewing TMNT! OMFG YAY! I am both excited and terrified XD. There's such a heavy chance this movie will get ripped on, but then again, there are parts that deserve that. (hops around in glee)

I had to go watch his review of the first three original films again. It kills me dead every time. (dies of laughter) And I have high hopes that the Critic won't end up sobbing in the bathtub again after this one.

Ahem. Anyways. On to real life stuff.

Yesterday was another driver's ed class. (bangs head) Why is this stuff so boring?

On the plus side- I finally got to drive. I even got my little schedule. Each group is assigned a letter on this schedule, but I'm the only one who's getting private lessons. When she starts her next class in June, she'll schedule me in to ride along with some other groups so I can get some observation time, but for now I'm my own group. Mwahaha... I'm Student Z. Much fun.

I don't seem to have done too badly on my drive. The two things she wrote down for me to improve on were my right turns and lane positions. I shall attempt to do better.

While walking home, I passed by Billy and Jacob doing stuff together. Billy pulled over and told me some stuff he found out about this photo position that opened up a few days ago. I guess they need someone like right away for Sunday, so I need to talk to management as soon as possible.

I think photo is the only place in the store I would leave the ICS for. Depending on some things, of course. Like, I would need to at least make the same amount of money I do now to take it, otherwise I'd be screwed. :/

I'd feel a little bad though if I had to move. I love the guys I work with in the ICS, and it would mean leaving them. That would suck. ;_;

Still don't even know if I'll be getting it though. I'm leaving for work early today to talk to the people about the position. :D
